Community Space
We believe that a church building should be used for much more than Sunday morning worship! Pleasant Street United Methodist Church is committed to being a resource for our community by sharing our facility with not-for-profit groups at no cost to them. Approximately 10% of our church budget is attributable to this very important ministry of hospitality and support.
Some of the Groups that Regularly Use Our Building:
- Alcoholics Anonymous
- Narcotics Anonymous
- National Alliance for the Mentally Ill
- RSVP Bone Builders
- Family Violence Project
- Scout Troops (Brownies, Cub Scout, Girl Scout, Boy Scout, Venture Scout)
- Tourmaline Singers
- Pine Tree Council
- T.O.P.S.
- Dirigo Ranger Cadets
- And more!
